Angel Capital Educational Foundation
The Angel Capital Education Foundation (ACEF) is a charitable organization devoted to education and research in the field of angel investing. The programs of the ACEF include conferences, regional meetings, educational workshops and seminars, and research projects and reports.
NYS Small Business Development Centers
The New York State Small Business Development Center program, a joint effort of the U.S. Small Business Administration and the State University of New York, provides one-on-one counseling at no charge on all aspects of small business start-up and management and programs on selected aspects of these issues throughout the year. Long Island Partnership
The mission of the Long Island Partnership is to serve as a gateway to link businesses seeking to expand on Long Island with the public and private economic development resources, programs and services designed to encourage that expansion.
The Partnership is comprised of the following organizations: NYS Empire State Development, Nassau County Economic Development and Industrial Development agencies, Suffolk County Economic Development and Industrial Development agencies, Long Island Power Authority, KeySpan, Long Island Association, Long Island Convention and Visitors Bureau, Long Island Development Corp., and the following Towns: Babylon, Brookhaven, Glen Cove (city), Hempstead, Huntington, Islip, North Hempstead. and Riverhead. The Partnership also includes Community Development Corporation of Long Island, Route 110 Redevelopment Corporation, Stony Brook University, and the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society.
